In her role as Executive Business Assistant, Alex was always eager to support senior management in our work. Since I am based out of Audioboom's NYC office, I often relied on Alex to keep me in the loop regarding investor presentations and engagement. She also alerted me to consumer and B2B press in the UK and assisted in tracking instances in which Audiboom content partners were featured on prominent distribution platforms. Beyond that, Alex was always enthusiastic and willing to pitch in and support various initiatives outside her core duties. I'm referring specifically to her support in the area of social media. On a personal note, I will miss working with Alex and envy the company that hires her next!
Sanna Aaltonen
Carrying out group projects (regardless if written reports or oral presentations) with Alex was always an absolute pleasure. Her planning and organisational skills, analytical outlook to any subject we were dealing with, and her creative problem-solving skills really were key factors in acing all our projects. Her communication skills in discussing how to approach and execute the projects were top notch. I have also rarely seen a presenter as fluent, comfortable and captivating as her - even working in the same groups with her, I often found myself just admiring how she was presenting our projects. She is an incredibly hard-worker with a great brain, excellent focus and a wonderful personality, and I learned a lot from her. I'd love to carry out working with her even post-uni, and thoroughly recommend her.

Executive Business Assistant

Sep 2017 - Aug 2018
As Executive Business Assistant I was heavily involved with shareholder and PLC matters plus various company projects. Work included: • 3-month high-profile project as the internal lead on a due diligence and verification process for a £150m fund-raise, working closely with lawyers to substantiate admission document.• Created a data analytics report framework by collating previously disjointed and inconsistent reports into a coherent and manageable dashboard that is still used. During the due diligence project the need to record consistent metrics became apparent to me, so I worked with the CTO, COO, CFO and developers to create a useful and, importantly, verifiable monthly reporting schedule. • using Google Analytics for management reports and AIM updates. • Working with PR company and the company secretary on investor relations and plc obligations. • Office management of a self-contained un-managed and un-serviced office – overseeing building keys and employee access, arranging all utilities and office suppliers, liaising with landlord, local authority and building insurers. • Implementing new HR system to global team (PeopleHR). Reason for leaving: redundancy.

Managing calendar of very busy CEO and arranging all aspects of his day: • Organising global travel, managing busy calendar.• Working with all departments on internal communications and office management aspects. • Preparing meeting documents and presentations and ensuring all attendees were briefed before meetings.• Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure CEO’s time was maximised efficiently. Reason for leaving: redundancy due to company buy-out shortly after I joined. The CEO I worked for left the business and a New York based executive took up the role, hence there was no longer requirement for my role.
