I’ve had the pleasure of working together with Eirik in EF Education First. He took over the role as Country Product Manager when I started as Country Manager due to exceptional results and unique ownership as Junior Product Manager. The role as Country Product Manager holds a complex aspect of tasks and usually takes time to grasp, but Eirik mastered the role from the very first day. His management skills are rare and he easily manages to get people behind him based on his competence within his field, his ability be strategic and see the business as a whole and his perfect balance between confidence and humbleness. He excelled with creating a One-Team mindset amongst five departments and took great ownership in brand management which helped EF grow their brand awareness within new segments. Eirik has a tendency to create success regardless of area, and with his great efforts he managed to take his team to the Best Year Ever in his first year as a Country Product Manager, which is unique. If you get Eirik on your team you should consider yourself lucky and any employer would be lucky to have him. I hope our paths cross again in the future!

I had the great pleasure of being Eirik’s Sales Manager for two years and saw him grow from a junior sales position to Country Product Manager. Eirik’s positions required him to be able to take own initiatives, be highly dedicated to his work and to have a strong positive attitude. In addition, as EF is a global company, you need to be able to work closely with different markets and cultures: the ability to maintain a large network through excellent communication and interpersonal skills is therefore a must. All of the above are qualities that Eirik truly possesses. In addition, he served as an inspiring role model at the office in Oslo and was extremely well liked by colleagues and managers.
