As a Secretary I for the Public Health Nursing Director, I perform an array of tasks pertaining to Human Resources and Family Health Clinics. My primary focus is Credentialing and/or Privileging all clinical staff and auditing credentialing files regularly. I prepare and review Credentialing & Privileging packets to present to the Family Health Governing Council. I audit reports such as Exclusions lists, Medication Variance, Emergency Box, and Accuvax monthly. I review policy from Joint Commission, HRSA, etc. to verify compliance in audits. I am a participant in policy review and/or revision. I also create complex Mid-level Collaborative Practice reports, coordinate and participate in Nursing Staff/Clinical Staff Meetings and Nurse Manager Meetings. I coordinate licensing and certification renewals and various clinical trainings for clinical staff. I create a wide range of detailed formulated reports using Excel. I often work with other departments to achieve a goal or take on a task. I have worked with Performance Improvement, Staff Training and Development, Emergency Preparedness, and especially COVID-19.
