In addition to bartending, I field request from artists who want to display their work at the brewery and coordinate displays with those who are a good fit. I work with artists on assembly, disassembly, and promotional events. These have included artist meet and greets, print sales, and most recently, I coordinated and ran a concert to promote an art display which featured 3 bands. This show doubled the bar sales from the previous Saturday in the month and all three bands wanted to book with me again. I will be booking more shows in the future! Show less

As venue manager, I managed a team of volunteers and worked closely with venue staff to delegate tasks, keep Treefort performances running on schedule, make sure artists were checked in and had information on loading in and out, and acted as a point of contact for any questions concerning other departments such as finance or artist contact. I worked as a venue manager for both the 2016 and 2017 festivals. For an Integrated Marketing Communications course lead by professor Charles Byers, my team and I collaborated with Aylia Rizvi, VP operations at Hastest Solutions Inc, to create a marketing plan to be presented at the Silicon Valley Business Journal's Create-a-thon. We met with Aylia for weekly meetings to design and create print and media ads, appropriately allocate our budget, develop a slogan, develop an in depth strategic marketing plan, and prepare a presentation for the panel.
