Alex has always received positive feedback of the highest standard from staff and students for the work he undertook at college. There is little doubt that his approach with students and management of the IT Skills Centre was the principal element in our students winning Excellence Awards from City and Guilds for four years running. Alongside his abilities in teaching adults IT, he maintained his vocational relevance through personally driven continuous personnel development on the latest software and hardware developments in IT. This meant that many staff went to him, formally and informally, for training and help around improving their IT skills. Each and every time, staff were very complimentary about his approach and the benefit they drew from that training.

Alex was a fount of IT knowledge! He was a real asset to my department with his knowledge and skills regarding advanced IT issues and problems. He was a really good team player, was always supportive, cheerful and would do anything for anyone.
