Project: Selwyn Village (stage 5) Retirement Village, Point Chevalier (July 2018 – August 2018) Roles and responsibilities: - Health and safety on site - Site management and supervision for civil work including construction of 3 retaining walls spanning over 45m in length, landscaping and irrigation, construction supervision for carpark canopies built over an area with underground services requiring hydrovac excavation. Project: The Sands Retirement Care, Browns Bay, Auckland (August 2018 – July 2019) Roles and responsibilities: - Health and safety on site - Site management for a complete floor in a 5 storey building consisting of care suites and common areas including nurse stations, activity rooms, lounges, sluice rooms, storage rooms, etc. - Quality Assurance for carpentry, services and finishing - Coordination and scheduling between carpentry, services 1st fix, GiB lining, wall finishing (stopping, painting, skirting, dado, wallpapers, handrails, tiles, vinyl, corner guard, etc), fire doors and smoke doors, services second fix, commissioning etc. - Council and architect’s inspections, ADHB inspections, Fire inspections, CPU documentation etc. Project: Office Work (July 2019 – October 2019) Roles and responsibilities: - Assisting project manager for practical completion documents for The Sands Retirement Care project, prestart council documentation for a WDHB project, procurement scheduling, MSP programming, drawings assessments and reviewing shop drawings. - Assisting health and safety manager for updating some HnS policies, preparing HnS documents for project prestart client requirements. After 10 months of extensive internship in my final year of bachelor's studies, I was positioned as a Junior Quantity Surveyor for Construction of Omkar Paradise Phase 2 which was G+7 storied building project having 32-units located at Dombivli East, Mumbai. As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, my major duties were - Studying of architectural, Structural and MEP plans and specifications.- Analysing material and cost estimates from all the elements in order to prepare purchase requisition.- Monitoring sub-contractor supervision, liaising with client representatives and architects.- Coordinating with the builder regarding order sheets of materials.- Overseeing employee wages and overhead bills- Valuation of complete work to prepare SOQ.- Analysing liquidated damages.- Participate in bid preparation.- Coordinating with the builder for updates regarding progress of work, health and safety regulation, scheduling, etc. Show less

My major duties were:- Assisting the supervision of foundation construction (site cleaning, setting out of foundation plan, excavation, dewatering, shuttering, rebar and concrete placing for stepped footing) Plinth beam construction.- Assisting the supervision of superstructure construction (supervision of wall plotting, water proofing, internal plaster and finishing, window and door openings, and staircase construction supervision)- Maintaining health and safety on site by preparing risk register and hazard register, implementing the risk and hazard prevention measures. I worked for ARK Technosolutions as a contract based workshop conductor and conducted 4 workshops in Pune University, Marathwada University (Aurangabad), Nagpur University and Anna University, India. The workshops were of 2 days. On first half of Day-1, I used to present a lecture about bridge engineering. Then I used to teach BridgeDesigner software to students. I then used to evaluate their designs and sanction the best one. The Day-2 was for hands-on practice where students were given Balsa Wood sticks to fabricate the same bridge model practically. Then the bridge used to be tested under point load and capacity of the bridge used to be tested. This job empowered me with presentation, communication and crowd handling skills. Show less
