  PI for a student led research project to fulfill the research objective for Eta Sigma Gamma, health education honorary. The purpose is to investigate the knowledge and perceptions of STD/STIs in relation to safe sex behavior patterns in individuals going out to Ybor City on weekend nights. Using a cross sectional survey to obtain primary data, the study identified of intervention to promote safe sex and sexual health practices. Findings were presented at the annual American Public Health Association conference in November 2019.
