      As a Cyber Security Intern at ACI Learning, I had the opportunity to develop and apply a wide range of skills in a 24/7 Security Operations Center environment. Throughout my internship, I focused on ongoing review of SIEM dashboards, system and application logs, and custom monitoring tools, providing analytical and operational security support to help ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical information systems. I worked closely with technical and threat intelligence analysts, collaborating to provide indications and warnings and contributing to predictive analysis of malicious activities. I was responsible for creating and tracking incidents and requests for remedy, investigating all security alerts received and using all available tools and log files to determine whether alerts were false positives, security events, actual attacks, or security incidents. I monitored security events and logs, such as proxy logs, IPS/IDS events, Firewall, Active Directory (user verification), Vulnerability scans, Anti-Malware events, Endpoints Security, Web Application Firewall, Net Flow, Packet Capture, and Computer log files, to maintain situational awareness. I also performed investigations and evaluations of network traffic, reading and interpreting logs, sniffer packets, and PCAP analysis using different tools.
