Responsibility as Head of Corporate Contract Management: Complete revamping and restructuring of Corporate Contracting Management via the reestablishment of qualified contracting teams, Implementation of Contracting Module in BEMCO’s JD Edwards ERP, and Launching a new multifaceted Subcontracting Evaluation Module to allow:• Evaluation of past, current and prospective subcontractors using the new Subcontracting Evaluation Module based on safety performance, QA and QC implementation, past experience, resources available in terms of human capital and equipment, past clientele, financial health and existing backlog. A panel comprised of finance, safety, quality, engineers and auditing personnel are performing evaluation relative to their expertise. This Panel has no commercial involvement and completely independent from the commercial arm of contracting to eliminate conflict of interest and maintain the objectivity of the evaluation.• Enterprise level Contract Management with audit trail to improve traceability of any unauthorized modifications, change control, contract database, claim register, direct link to finance for committed vs consumed ratios, and re-evaluation via constant updates to Evaluation Committee. • Standardizing contracts with boilerplate language addressing general terms and conditions, safety and quality undertaking, and provisions specific to scope and size of subcontractors.
