My research interests include rural school superintendents and leadership and how they persist and maintain their resilience in what are often dire circumstances in high needs school districts. I also work with and research high need school district transformation processes in an effort to evoke positive change. Much of my work has been supported by external grant funding secured in partnership with both educational and business institutions to provide intensive professional development and technology to high needs schools.
