I conceived, developed and edited Moneymax, a platform with stock exchange news and data (historic and live prices), between 1998 and 2002, after Koos Bekker had acquired BFA, a leading stock exchange data feed in South Africa in 1997. I co-managed a team of five IT developers. We monetized the data feed (live prices and historic prices) and added several sources of income, including an online consumer credit report, which sold like hot cakes and disrupted the credit information industry back then.
