As a Director of Studies (DoS), my main responsibilities are to assist and ensure the continual improvement in the quality of education that we are providing to students, as well as focusing on the role that the Academic Department has in the growth of Shane English School Taiwan (SEST) as a company.My primary roles in this position are the direct management of teachers and two DTE schools, and providing management support and academic guidance to seven franchise schools. Duties within this role include regularly visiting DTE and Franchise schools and holding meetings with the school management team and teachers. When visiting schools, I also regularly observe DTE and Franchise teachers' classes and provide bespoke feedback to aid them in their teaching development.In addition to this, I am also responsible for working within my team to further develop current materials and create new ones, design and carry out training for new materials, as well as identify efficient means of delivering these materials to the various schools that I look after.
