Matt is a well oiled machine! He is well versed in the "techie side" of telecom recruiting, and is always up for the challenge of creating job descriptions out of thin air! He is definitely my "go-to guy" when I have a technical question pertaining to a hard to place req, and I would definitely work with him in a New York minute on any turn-key project presented. He is detail oriented, a great project manager on the staffing side, and knows the wireline side of the house like the back of his hand. If you want a results-oriented staffing manager/recruiter with a strong experience level in telecom, definitely reach out to Matt! That, and he plays a mean guitar.

Recruiting strategies to source active and passive candidates include: the CBMA resumes database, “cold calling”, word of mouth, social media, and online advertising and databases (Monster, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Zip Recruiter, CareerBuilder, and Telecom Careers). I conduct “full life cycle” recruiting on a daily basis. This includes collaborating with hiring managers, sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, creating formal offers of employment, guiding new hires, periodically checking on recent hires progress, and off boarding resources. Common openings include: Telecom Inside Plant (ISP) Engineers (i.e. Detail Engineers/Equipment Engineers, Site Survey Engineers, Network Engineers), ISP Installers and Technicians (mostly Data Center, Central Office, and Wireless - MTSO), Outside Plant (OSP) Fiber Splicers/Fiber Characterization Technicians, and all CBMA staff level openings – which include Warehouse Associates, various back office personnel, Human Resource professionals, Information Technology professionals, and all levels of Management.
