      Prototyped fieldbus (Profibus) control into their existing system for separation control. The design consisted of a new driver added to the existing PC program and an embedded unit that was turned into a fieldbus master to communicate to fieldbus slave devices. The driver was written in C++ in Visual Studio and communicated through TCP/IP with the embedded unit which was written in C. Wrote master thesis that analyzed the flexibility of the prototype.
