  Maddan & Company, Inc. is a family based Food Brokerage company established in San Francisco in 1947. Maddan & Company, Inc. represents food growers and suppliers, primarily in the produce industry, and help them market their products to supermarkets such as Whole Foods, Save Mart Stores, and Raley's. I joined the Maddan & Co. team in February of 2017. My first role as Office Manager is being the first point of contact for the business via in office as well as on the phone. My other responsibilities include order processing (receiving orders from buyers, processing the order within our system - Management Chain Systems, MCS, - and sending the order to the correct producer (or account) Maddan & Company, Inc. represents. These orders are very detail oriented and it was my main job to make sure the buyer placed the order for the correct item as well as the correct quantity. Other major responsibilities include tracking shipments of product through LTL carriers such as Estes Express and staying in constant contact with buyers in regards to their orders - if they are running on-time or if more time is needed.
