In my first 2 years with Weatherfords PSS, my roles and responsibilities advanced every 3 months with each new project. Joined the company during a 2 week period of downtime before a 6 month 30” 28km pipeline testing & cleaning project with Eni Saipem in Tunisa. Initial roles included working with the yard management, project engineers and technical planners, co-ordinating projects and Field Engineering. This role involved carrying out all project management aspects of below and further expanded my area of responsibility and impact to a country-wide level. • Communicating with all in-house & field personnel as well as third party regulatory agencies • Prepared conceptual drawings & layouts • Conducted research & analysis, product testing • Selected materials & processes to meet cost & performance objectives • Carried out performance & stress analyses • Executed test reports, specs and all correspondence • Transferred to production, working with production & manufacturing engineering to ensure all runs were co-ordinated • Provided assistance to all departments including business development and purchasing to provide technical expertise • Drew up project schedules, planned work and kept all parties informed of progress; establishing scope of design and supervising CAD & Testing personnel when needed • Arranged all manpower logistics, visas and permits, as well as medicals within Qatari Labour Law The role reported to Country Manager, PM’s, Project Engineers and Clients.
