I've had the pleasure of working with Misty on the same couple of scrum teams ever since she started at SheerID. Misty is a talented engineer who goes the extra mile to make sure things are done well. She collaborates and pairs with other teammates often, and is open to what others have to say. She jumps in to help others bring tasks to completion, whether it’s development work, writing automated tests, or manually testing features. Misty is also very encouraging and patient when teaching others. Misty has taken ownership as tech lead for some of our quarterly goals. Most recently, she was the tech lead for the development and launch of the BigCommerce app integration. This included creating a proof of concept, pairing with product to create stories and determine what was needed, talking to our vendors, and coordinating that work between engineers. The release was smooth and successful. Misty has also been integral to the successful Shopify app integration we built and launched in a previous quarter. Misty has also served as scrum master for our team and did a great job with all of the scrum duties as well as her own as an engineer. Misty ran the scrum rituals successfully, was a trustworthy leader, and planned events for the team. Misty checked in with the members of the team to make sure we were all doing well. Misty is an absolute joy to work with. She has proven to be a great teammate and mentor. She is smart, trustworthy, dependable, very easy to work with, friendly, and has a great sense of humor. I will greatly miss working with Misty and hope we can work together again in the future!

I had the pleasure of working alongside Misty from the beginning of her career at Urban Airship and I can say wholeheartedly that she was one of the most impressive, well spirited, problem solving engineers I have ever worked with. From day 1 she worked with me on some very high profile issues for some very high value customers and we put in hours learning the infrastructure and the quirks of our system, and she resolved them with hard work and tenacity. I watched as she quickly became a very valuable and trusted member of an important team. She helped get my new team members up to speed and was always the person you went to if there was a bug that was difficult to track down. Her natural problem solving ability and good nature always shone through, even on the darkest of days. When she made the move to the Customer Engineering team, she was the right person for the position at the right time. She seemingly somehow found another gear in her already amazing ability. She was always the one where you hoped your issues would fall to in her queue for further analysis and you were never disappointed, by the result or her communication. In the rare case that she needed more help she knew where and when to get it. Ultimately I don't think I ever had a bug that went to Misty that she couldn't get resolved or explain. For me that is why I will always rate her highly. I look forward to seeing what she achieves in her career.
