• • Led the design and building process for the infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline of a new product. The product helps us onboard customers significantly faster. Thus, providing value earlier in the customer journey and saving £250k+ of revenue. Github Actions was used for the CI/CD and Terraform + AWS CDK to manage the infrastructure. • Helped maintain and extend the Terraform setup that allows us to automatically provision AWS accounts and all necessary resources when onboarding new customers. This system manages 200+ AWS accounts for our SAAS customers. • Scoped, planned and executed the upgrade of Octopus Deploy from a 6 year old version in a hand-built box, to a fully managed containerised solution using AWS Fargate, RDS and Terraform. This brought an improved DR story, lower costs and automatic updates. • Built a Go Slackbot which allows engineers to check the status of our services. It uses several Lambdas connected with an SQS queue, an API Gateway and deployed using Serverless. The Slackbot sped up our incident reaction times and increased visibility. • Upskilled developers on Serverless and Terraform so they could be more autonomous when working on Dev-Ops related tasks. • Performed a thorough analysis of Information Security issues that allowed us to achieve the ISO 27001 certification. • • Completed a project that automated the configuration of zones in external DNS providers (Akamai and Cloudflare) using python and their APIs, utilized secure practices to access API key data. • Developed a thorough understanding of enterprise infrastructure and network protocols, by having work shadowing sessions and lectures with most teams in the Enterprise Computing department. • Worked in an agile environment. • Worked alongside another intern to build a data visualization dashboard using tools such as Matplotlib and Splunk.
