Director of Sales
-
Jan 2006 - Present
I have two main focuses in this position, the first being to oversee sales operations within the department. Since establishing this department myself years ago, I have built the foundation our team operates on. This included creating sales processes, identifying account territories, establishing sales metrics, and developing commission structure. Now that our department is well established I am tasked with ongoing management and training of staff. My other priority is to identify areas for market growth and introduce new sales programs in order to secure new business. To help drive success, I analyze market data and sales performance in order to capitalize upon strengths and identify areas for expansion. My main accomplishments include: • Influencing a substantial sales increase due to the establishment of a direct-to-trade sales program. • Setting up e-Tailer sales division in 2006. • Growing kitchen and bath, retail flooring, and remodeler accounts. • Developing outside salesforce program in 2016, spurring large gains in market penetration and account engagement. • Identifying and onboarding a new accessory product which resulted in significant ROI.
