Through winning the 2020 INFINITI Engineering Academy European final, I gained experience in Nissan's Ride, Handling & Tyre Performance sub department at NTCE. Here I performed many ADAMs dynamic / static suspension simulation tasks and developed a new MATLAB / Simulink based torque steer analysis tool for use on current and future FWD Nissan vehicles. Worked as a race weekend data engineer at BMR BTCC Team on the Subaru Levorg project for several seasons. My main responsibilities involved assisting the race engineering team with detailed chassis data analysis used for setup adjustments and ensuring that all DAQ systems / sensors were operational and logging efficiently. Elected as Team HARE's Technical Director for the 2018-19 IMechE Formula Student Season. Successfully led the team to it's highest ever points tally, placing 6th overall and 3rd in UK at FSUK 2019. Presented with the IMechE 'Breakthrough' award for most improved team after achieving a total of 619 points compared to 2018's 21 points at FSUK. Between my studies I secured a summer internship at Rolls-Royce plc in the Civil Aerospace Rotatives Manufacturing Engineering sub department. Industrial Placement Student - R&D Chassis

Secured a 13 month industrial placement scheme at Red Bull Racing F1 in the R&D Chassis department. During my time at Red Bull I fulfilled a wide array of chassis component testing procedures – ranging from fatigue and proof testing to FIA conformity processes – and test rig / tooling design tasks resulting in the design of over 300 CAD parts. I also assisted the race strategy team with race weekend competitor analysis duties for the 2016 & 2017 seasons. As a contractor I gained experience as a Fitter's Mate in Little Barford Power Station's Mechanical Maintenance team. In this role I was responsible for carrying out and assisting with various plant maintenance and operation analysis routines. I took part in the 2015 summer outage amongst the GMOS Gas Turbine Maintenance team where I was responsible for key auxiliary system maintenance tasks as well as GT borescope preparation work.
