  Meridian, MS Completed intensive 2-year jet training program and officially earned Navy Wings of Gold. Training included many basic skills such as air-to-air combat, bombing, carrier landings, and more. Additionally, training added enormous emphasis on officer development and leadership mentoring. Graduated top of class with several accolades, including the Top Hook Award for best performance at the aircraft carrier, the USS Bush. Selected first choice of aircraft, the EA-18G Growler.

The course instilled professional basic airmanship skills, which built a solid foundation for future training.   NAS Patuxent River, Maryland Naval Test Wing Atlantic is the most technically diverse air wing in naval aviation, supporting test and evaluation of the Navy's principal aviation systems ranging from unmanned to rotary and fixed-wing aircraft and subsystems. Throughout this internship I shadowed pilots through intensive classroom and ground training, as well as in the cockpit of several test platforms.
