Training included many basic skills such as air-to-air combat, bombing, carrier landings, and more. Additionally, training added enormous emphasis on officer development and leadership mentoring. Graduated top of class with several accolades, including the Top Hook Award for best performance at the aircraft carrier, the USS Bush. Selected first choice of aircraft, the EA-18G Growler.
