I worked closely with Ben in the capacity of consultant when we implemented a WMS solution at his facility, and was consistently very impressed with his enthusiasm, dedication and determination to meet the stated goals, regardless of the size or complexity of the problem. Ben made everyone feel part of the project and was equally approachable regardless of whether you were an employee of Jake’s or consultants like me or my team. Ben's focus was consistently on getting it "right", in addition to "done", and it showed. Whether it was a technical issue or a process issue, feedback from my team was consistently stellar, for his knowledge, professionalism and personality. Ben’s grasp of process in addition to his technical competence, was exceptional. Ben's professionalism was also impressive as he would actively participate in discussions to improve facets of the project, whether processes or systems, and would always embrace decisions and work hard to implement them. Ben was very effective in interacting with my team to understand the scope and nature of a problem or opportunity. His upbeat and engaging personality was one of those intangible traits in people that is often very hard to find, and a huge benefit to any team, especially for an outside company such as ourselves. We truly felt like everyone was on the same team and this was in large part due to Ben’s personality. It was truly rewarding and fun to work with Ben, and I would absolutely do it again given the opportunity.
