I was selected by the current leadership team to join them in attending and completing the first in- clinic leadership training series at Hogg Therapy. The training series consisted of four weeks of intensive leadership and management education and preparation. In August of 2022 I began my new role as Therapy Manager while maintaining a caseload. I am responsible for overseeing a team of 5-7 occupational, speech and physical therapists across two company locations. I assist with identifying solutions to day to day operations- related to the buildings safety, parent communication, therapist scheduling, client attendance, company culture. I create company wide training resources on identified areas of improvement and propose targeted solutions. I input my teams weekly and monthly billing numbers, ensure insurance authorizations are current for all disciplines, meet individually with team members as needed and in conjunction with my fellow Therapy Managers, help lead monthly staff meetings, plan clinic monthly events. Monthly, I join the Director of Rehabilitation as well as the company owners and co-managers to meet about company procedures, policies and new updates. I also attend Leadership Day retreats as part of this team in an effort to continuously improve the company, individual and group leadership, and to stay educated on current leadership best practices. • May 2021 - May 2023

Began as a per diem occupational therapist in May 2021 to provide coverage as needed for full- time occupational therapists, between two clinic locations: Berea and Richmond, Kentucky. I was responsible for managing their daily caseload, requiring careful analysis of their clinical documentation to identify any client precautions, at times reviewing notation same day prior to seeing clients. I was responsible for implementing daily treatment plans following my analysis of the clients goals and providing therapists prior documentation to address established therapy goals. In October of 2021, I began as a full time occupational therapist for Hogg Therapy at their Richmond location. I work as part of a team of therapists who provide pediatric outpatient services to clients from 0-21 years of age with a variety of diagnoses and impairments including (but not limited to) developmental delays, neurological deficits, learning disabilities, physical and mental diagnoses. I conduct and document evaluations, screenings, implement treatment sessions, complete ongoing updates to the clients plan of care as necessary, establish parent communication and at home plans, referring to other professionals on our team including SLT, PT for continuity and comprehensive client care. I volunteer, network, and educate the public about our therapeutic services during community events about indicators and importance of early therapy. In April of 2022 I became a Fieldwork Clinical Instructor (CI) , serving as an educator, supervisor and mentor to a graduate student completing his degree in occupational therapy. In May of 2022, I joined the original therapist team as we transitioned to a new, expanded facility. In August of 2022, I began my new role as Therapy Manager. Show less

Reviewed and analyzed medical records from referring pediatricians regarding client observations, diagnoses, functioning, parental concerns, used to begin developing a plan of care. Continually updated and reviewed occupational therapy waitlist to keep current and maintain a full time schedule despite any caseload changes. Independently scheduled treatment sessions and evaluations, booked appointment times, managed scheduling changes and communication with client families, to coordinate a treatment schedule for a caseload of approximately 30 clients. Treated via teletherapy, in school and in an outpatient clinic clients from 2- 21 years of age with autism, PANDAS, ODD, ADHD, hyperkinesis, CMV, unilateral deafness, depression, anxiety, unspecified emotional disorder, bipolar disorder, learning disabilities, seizures and brain abnormalities, developmental delays, fetal alcohol syndrome. Selected administered, graded, and interpreted relevant assessments for clients-standardized or non standardized (Sensory Profile, Peabody, BOT-2, vision screen, primitive reflexes) used to complete initial or annual occupational therapy evaluations. Created client goals based on evaluation results. Created home education programs, and educated parents on their child’s progress, provided suggestions for therapy carryover at home. Collaborated and referred to other healthcare professionals at the clinic including SLT and ABA. Updated plans of care to align with progress or updates in therapy, and submitted in accordance to deadlines given by insurance companies. Discharged clients who achieved therapy goals. Created weekly billing spreadsheet to independently track and record services provided and submitted weekly for payroll. Learned and memorized various billing codes and corresponding reimbursement rates per insurance company, in order to calculate accurate service delivery rates for billing. Helped to update the current clinic therapy attendance policy. Show less
