My wife Candice and I have extensive experience in dance instruction, having taught at our previous club, Rhodes University DanceSport, where we trained couples from beginner levels to competing internationally. We are now settled in the Western Cape and are excited to get back to what we are known for - high-quality dance training. Our goal is to replicate the success of our previous club at our newly founded Observatory Studio, expanding our reach to include children aged 9 and older, as well as senior couples aged 35 and up. Our aim is to create a team that will compete and represent South Africa in international DanceSport leagues. At DanceSport HQ, we pride ourselves on providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment that allows our students to achieve their full potential. Our previous club has been recognized with numerous awards, including Full Colours, Sports Honours, and Committee of the Year, to name a few.   As a paragliding enthusiast with a passion for teaching, I have been teaching paragliding on the weekends for the past few years. My journey in paragliding began at the age of 16 when I obtained my pilot's license through the South African Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association (SAHPA), which is a member of the Aeroclub South Africa. After gaining my qualification, I worked for Paragliding Adventures where I started as an assistant for examinations and later progressed to giving lectures to prepare pilots for their examinations. As I gained more experience and knowledge, I began teaching as an assistant instructor in the field, which made me one of the youngest instructors in South Africa at the time. Teaching paragliding on the weekends has been a fulfilling experience for me, and I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with my students. I strive to create a safe and supportive learning environment while ensuring my students gain the necessary skills to become competent paragliding pilots. Show less
