I am 1 of 2 teachers in the 18-24 month room. Our center's focus is learning through play, so I observe the children playing and set up invitations to play though those observations. In our room, children learn their animal noises, their colors, their body parts, and a lot about their emotions. We give them healthy outlets to express their feelings when they are mad, sad, lonely, happy, or excited. I am 1 of 2 teachers in the 18-24 month room. • Feb 2018 - May 2019

As a store manager, I motivated associates to make sales goals and trained them to be comfortable in a single-coverage environment. I instilled strong loss prevention practices in the store to keep any external loss at a minimum. I also merchandised the store to attract more customers and keep up with seasonal trends. My biggest accomplishments were taking the store from red to green within the first 4 months of being promoted, lowering associate turnover rates, and moving the store up 5 spots in regional sales placements. • Sales Supervisor
      • Aug 2017 - Feb 2018

In this position, I helped the store manager train associates, did minor merchandising changes, and motivated our associates to make goals by being an example. My biggest accomplishments were leading the team in sales volume, exceeding my personal sales goal each month, and getting promoted to store manager in 6 months.

As a supervisor, I had to motivate associates to stay energetic and friendly on the sales floor, deescalate upset and tense customers, practice loss prevention techniques, monitor sales and conversion metrics, and I was trusted with the safe code and store keys.
