This project consists of the development of a closed loop control system for the fish farming industry, which through temperature and oxygen level sensors in the geomembrane tanks seeks to optimize up to 25% of the electricity consumption in a fish farm. My role in this project is the creation of the software in charge of communicating with the device that receives the data from the sensors in the fish tank (Waspmote) stores them in a database and depending on the current values sends a signal to the device that controls the frequency inverter (PLC) to give it the order to accelerate or decelerate the motor based on the level of oxygen in the tank and thus optimize the electrical consumption of the fish farm motors. I also implemented a Rest API so that the Fish Management System could connect with the automation system when new tanks with sensors were added and the Automation System also by consuming the Rest API of the Management system send it the data corresponding to the readings of the sensors. The automation system was implemented using Python and Django and as a postgreSQL database.
