  Community analysis in fresh water samples derived from the KRW rijkswaterstaat by use of meta barcoding and Next Generation Sequencing. PCR optimalistation on extracted DNA freshwater samples will be compared with CO1 and 18S primer methods.Results will be compared to ecological background, sample type and sample location

  Analyzing water and sediment/bulk samples by use of metabarcoding and Next Generation Sequencing (Illumina).Water samples were collected at the North Sea during the BTS survey of WMR. Sediment and bulk were collected at Ameland and Sloehaven Vlissingen. DNA extraction, PCR optimization and primer studies can provide more information about the biodiversity in these areas.
