Andy C.
I have had the extreme pleasure of knowing Dawn as my employee and friend at Cockle Legal Briefs. Dawn has a keen and inquisitive mind, and she actively pursues the knowledge that will help her continually improve her work. She gave our clients an unparalleled level of professional service during her time as a typesetter in our firm. Dawn is fearless when presented with a new challenge, and she understands that her achievements are tied to the success of her employers and co-workers. I would strongly recommend Dawn for anyone looking to build a team dedicated to excellence.
Angie Hance
When I think of what Dawn could bring to an organization, I think of three things: relationships, knowledge and skills, and a love of learning. Dawn has worked hard the past several years to develop positive working relationships not only with the new staff that she supervises, but with new school administrative and teacher staff and parents. Dawn has a tremendous knowledge base in the area of special education, Instructional Decision Making, Co-Teaching, and Child Find, among other things. She has worked very closely with AEA and LEA staff to inform and move forward these processes. Her knowledge of special education processes and procedures has allowed her to be successful in resolving questions and informal disputes with districts and parents. Finally, Dawn has a passion for learning. She has furthered her learning with additional endorsements and certifications, attended numerous trainings offered by private and public institutions/agencies, and spearheaded a book studies with various groups within the agency.
