I had the pleasure of working with Neal when I took over as CEO at mPower in 2001. I quickly realized Neal was a key member of the management team, not only because of his excellent strategic thinking and managerial skills, but also for his detailed understanding of the wealth management space. Neal was well respected by the Board, and instrumental in the successful sale of mPower to Morningstar and its subsequent integration. As well as a possessing a sharp intellect which serves him well in strategic thinking and planning, Neal is very effective on a day-to-day business level in communication and driving for results. At mPower I observed that Neal was highly liked and respected by all the constituencies he served: clients, investors, direct reports. peers and, most importantly of all, customers and partners. I would love to work with him again someday.
