I had the pleasure of managing Brent directly during his summer internship at Allegient. Early on, it was my intent to challenge Brent with tasks that were not to be given for the sake of keeping busy, but rather add value to us as a department. Brent took on tasks and asked the right questions when necessary to create deliverables that were trusted to be of great quality. Luckily, I never had to second-guess Brent's quality of work. He put forth a lot of effort into going above and beyond the requirements of the tasks which then enabled us to tackle much more work as a team than was initially scoped. His enthusiasm and focus on the detail of his work was a great asset that we will miss greatly. If you have the chance to recruit Brent in the future it would be in the best interest of your organization to do so.
