Learned the fundamentals of Blockchain technology and explored the space by building a DApp, took several courses to understand the building blocks of the technology and attended conferences and other events to keep up to date on the latest trends and developments. DApps: o RemitMart: A marketplace to connect donors and vendors to provide people in need around the world with basic necessities like groceries. The DApp is built on the Ethereum Ropsten network using Solidity for the smart contracts, Truffle for deployment, Ethereum Swarm for off-chain data storage and Metamask for the front end. The DApp was presented at the Code Fellows Demo Day (October 16th 2018) with much success. Windows: Artifact Services Teamo VSTS Drop/VPack: Managed the feature work for the new cloud-based service that will support all storage needs for Windows build artifacts. Worked on a plan for a packaging solution to meet the requirements of WDG and other Microsoft organizations that will use VSTS Drop as its backend. Incorporated requirements and negotiated trade-offs with the Build and Source Management teams for this packaging solution to support their plans to migrate the Windows code base to Git.o BNS (Build Notification System): Drove improvements to the BNS database, which is the central location to store information about the Windows build; to increase availability of the data.o RelMan (Release Manager): Worked with the Operations team to update the Windows proprietary build distribution system (RelMan) to be able to scale to deal with a higher number of branches and builds per day. Reduced the number of redundant files stored in RelMan to save storage space through the use of a feature to track usage of each file. Defined KPIs and measures to track copy times and make sure that the system is meeting SLA's.o WinROQ: Provided support and debugged a mission-critical tool for the release of Windows written in C#.

Windows: Release TeamResponsible for the release planning and execution of Microsoft’s flagship product, the Windows operating system; to several distribution channels aimed at providing interested partners such as OEMs, ISVs, MSDN/TechNet and the end customers with Windows builds for both pre-RTM testing and RTM. Windows 8 Release: o Debugged issues across dependencies of the Release process such as Build, Media Creation and Media Verification.o Enabled Microsoft internal partner teams such as Office and DevDiv to receive Windows builds using RelMan o Provided the functional specification for the Release portion of WinPOR, a website to unify all sku/release information to be used during the Windows product cycle. o Worked closely with the Windows Security team to minimize the chance of a build leak and to incorporate the Windows Fingerprinting Service (WFS) into the release process and tools.o Designed a solution for Media Verification to work around the changes introduced by the WFS feature.o Participated in UATs for all of the release tools (ROQ, Connect, DMS, WinROQ and WinPOR) and provided feedback to the development teams about tool improvement.Windows 7 Release: o Defined and implemented best practices to upload the RC and RTM builds to RSM, Connect, MSDN/TechNet and other release channels.o Debugged release tools’ issues and addressed roadblocks. o Measured performance benchmarks for the release tools and devised strategies for improvement of tool bandwidth and throughput.
