Created in response to a sharp rise in plastic pollution and the death of sanitation workers across the world, Covicycle is a scalable and sustainable solution to collecting, sterilizing and recycling public PPE waste that is emerging from the Covid-19 crisis. Covicycle aims to create a healthier and cleaner world. Out of an approximate of 250 participants, my team and I won the first prize in the UCL Student Covid-19 Recovery Challenge.
