Emiliano is a passionate new generation manager, with a strong motivation on innovation aspects and always available to collaborate with teammates with a servant leadership style, fostering the agile mindset of the team I think he is one of the key actors of Autostrade per L'Italia digital transformation project! It's been a pleasure to work with him!

I've worked with Emiliano for almost one year while in Autostrade per l'Italia. I think that Emiliano is very passionate for his work and that he is a great colleague. We have worked together on several projects and his extensive knowledge of IT systems allowed us to achieve great goals in the digital transformation business landscape. He knows how to collaborate both with internal colleagues and with the business. He is predisposed to dialogue and to the achievement of stable and efficient architectures. He is always willing to help, whatever the need, even with calendars full of meetings and a thousand activities to complete. I have noticed several times that he sacrifices his personal time to support colleagues that need him without asking anything in return.

Lead multiple projects and work streams within the asset management domain. The role involves: supporting the design, development, testing, and release of IT solutions, ensuring their adoption; interacting with internal and external stakeholders to monitor the arising of new initiatives/needs; coordinating team activities within priorities, timelines, and budgets; managing risks; and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of processes. The main contribution is on the ARGO project that aims to rethink the system that manages the information and processes of inspection/maintenance of highway assets: the goal is to have a lean, fast and easy-to-use tool that helps to extend the life of each asset, anticipate problems, meet regulatory requirements and industry standards while ensuring transparency. Further details at https://www.movyon.com/en/argo Other contributions include the design of systems for defect recognition and classification with machine learning algorithms and the modernization of pavement analysis software.

Design, development and testing of Kibana dashboards to understand, debug and improve critical grid services. CERN-IT-PES is running a large (4'000 servers) batch service and grid services used by thousands of researchers around the world for processing the data of the LHC experiments. Monitoring these services is vital for the success of the data processing. Design, development and testing of Kibana dashboards to understand, debug and improve critical grid services. I have worked on problems related to remote sensing and renewable energy. In a little bit over three months, I have developed a neural network to generate deterministic forecasts of power generated by a photovoltaic array from weather model forecasts. My software was able to achieve a root mean squared error of about 8%, which is on par to much more sophisticated system used by other laboratories in the USA and Europe using the same dataset.
