      Phil's BBQ is the busiest restaurant in San Diego County, and has been grown up to 5 locations since its founding in 1998. Phil's has been well known by all San Diegans for its one of a kind BBQ and legendary service. At Phil's BBQ, our company motto is "All is One", where everyone can do any job within the restaurant and our motto promotes working as a team. As a shift leader, its is my duty to lead by example to other members of the BBQrew and to help oversee and assist management in leading any shift. I assist in the management of breaks, proper assignment of duties for front of house staff, and help develop the growth of BBQrew employees. Phil's BBQ opened up its newest location back in April 2016, and I had the opportunity to train the new staff. My responsibilities were with training 28 new bussers, teaching them steps of service, customer service, and the job functions required to be successful. A great opportunity to lead a new store to its opening day, preparing them with the knowledge and experience that I have accumulated in my time at Phil's BBQ.
