I have had the pleasure of working with Josiel since my freshman year at NIU. We have worked together in organizations such as: NIU Student Association, Supporting Opportunities for Latinos, Sigma Lambda Beta and Latino Student Alliance. We have had much success in all of the previously stated organizations. Josiel is a proactive contributor who would make a great addition to any team. Throughout his years here at NIU he has had the ability to improve and learn skills such as strategic thinking, time management and budgeting skills. He has a great amount of pride and pays attention to details. Josiel has always had a good work ethic and a vision. He has been able to start up his own organization here on campus. Although other students have also helped him along the way, he has been the main person in charge. The group is now recognized by the Student Association and I am certain that big things will come from this newly formed organization. I would recommend Josiel for any position seeing that he naturally rises to the occasion when he is presented with something that he is passionate about.
