  As part of the test team my original role was to test the integration between multiple feeds generated from a Microsoft database into an XML format and then feed to the BOI Life online software in a .Net Environment. My role was to investigate when the were issues/defect by inspecting the XML that were generated and querying the database using SQL to confirm where the issue/defect originated either at the database level, the feed level or when the feeds hit the software. I was then kept on to complete the E2E test run, which i was mostly tasked with investigating issues found by the other members of the team to find out why these happened and to supply a resolution/answer to these issues/defects.   As part of a two person team I was employed to test the functionality of the online registration software and confirm it met the clients specifications, using Product Studio to log and track and solve all defects/bugs. I was then transferred to another project which allowed clients to purchase bond using multiple currencies, i was brought on board to confirm that the calculations and the data that was returned to the client through the online portal were correct.
