Have good knowledge of Alcatel-Lucent & Huawei transmission equipment. Specialities in OSN8800, ALU PSS1830, Alcatel Lucent Lambda Unite,ADMU,AMU & AMS. •Have extensive knowledge on handling various transmission equipment starting from PDH, SONET, SDH, OTN & DWDM of various companies such as Tellabs, Alcatel-Lucent, and Huawei etc. •Doing routine preventive maintenance for all the backbone, core & access transmission which involves long distance travelling throughout the UAE and doing with extensive care and any negligence will involve in huge loss of data. •Doing PAT (preliminary Acceptance test) for all the access, core & backbone equipments to be newly installed in the network. Involved in the OTN expansion project for DU all over UAE from SILA to Fujairah •Attending trouble tickets & change request on 24/7 basis for all the transmission equipment within the du network ranging from Silla to Fujairah. •Successfully maintaining the inventory of costly transmission critical spares which involves material takeover from various departments. •BER testing as well RFC 2544 ( for Ethernet links) testing of various links locally & internationally on the SDH & Ethernet analyzers which involves setting of various complicated parameters & retrieving the results. •Full knowledge of trouble ticket management i.e. HPSM which involves opening & closing of trouble ticket & handling trouble ticket assigned to our group. •Providing expert level testing solutions to the management for testing transmission links locally & internationally Show less
