      Design was proposed to measure sedimentation of waste water from local clari ers. Proposed design was successful and provided greater accuracy and reliability than existing apparatus. Proposed a novel method of measuring sedimentation rates using image processing software for future experiments. Modelled and analyzed the e ects of concentration and particle size on the clari cation of waste water sludges. Gained an understanding of the design challenges in waste water clari cation.
