  As the Legal Counsel, I oversee the legal matters of Capital Square Partners as a whole, and advise the firm and our portfolio entities on a wide range of legal and business issues. I provide legal support on investments and portfolio acquisitions.I also work closely with the Managing Partners to advise on compliance laws, rules and standards. I help to identify, document and assess the compliance risks associated with the entities within our portfolio and affiliates, and regularly review the firm's internal policies to ensure a robust ethics and compliance program.

  As an Associate Director, I lead the Corporate team in advising corporate clients across various sectors in the ASEAN region on their corporate transactions. I also work closely with our colleagues from our international offices on a wide range of corporate matters, such as cross border M&A transactions and securities offerings.My practice focuses on corporate technology work in Singapore and in the region, having acted for both start-ups and venture capital firms for fund-raising and other advisory work. We work closely with our clients to help them understand their obligations to the various stakeholders, and also to help them navigate their obligations through the regulatory landscape. To date, I have helped companies across the region raise over US$100 million in their fund raising exercises. I represent clients in a wide range of private and public mergers and acquisition transactions in Singapore and in the region across various sectors. As the Singapore based office in exclusive association with Gowling WLG, an international top 50 law firm, I also frequently act as the local counsel to cross-border corporate transactions. My experience also extends to representing issuers, underwriters and selling shareholders in a wide variety of domestic and international capital markets transactions.I also represent the office as a Diversity Officer, and work with our other offices to promote diversity, equity and inclusion within the office.

  I advise start-ups or technology companies, including drafting of investment agreements, founders agreements or shareholders' agreements as part of our firm’s Corporate Technology practice. I also regularly advise clients on matters relating to mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, commercial matters and general corporate matters. I also have capital markets experience, where i assisted various issuers on initial public listing and reverse takeover projects, and also as legal counsel to the issue manager for such listing projects. I also advise clients on their continuing listing obligations, and assist them with the various announcements and circulars to shareholders for their corporate actions. Outside the office, I attend the legal clinic at Hougang Community Centre, and K.
