Reporting to the Group MD, I was responsible for the unit's revenue generation, bottomline performance, sales and marketing, programme development and projects delivery. Being in a Group with 7 business units, the role also required me to work closely with other unit directors and team leaders to achieve synergy and ensure that the group's brand continue to inspire credibility in the industry. The unit had grown from contributing 25% of the group revenue in 2011 to more than 50% of the group revenue in 2015. Highlights: - P&L Responsibility annual topline revenue of $4.5 million - Hunted untapped markets to increase revenue by 20% - Farmed current accounts to maximise sales revenue - Sat in both Management and Board meetings Show less

Head of Department, Physical Education (Radin Mas Primary School)
-
May 2004 - Dec 2007
As the HOD of PE, I was the primary driver of the physical education programme including sports skills, physical health and fitness of the students in the school, co-curricular activities and participation, inter-schools sports competitions, schools events and physical safety of the students. Handling events on a school wide basis allowed me to work with teachers from all departments and also parents. One of the most memorable achievement in the school was the creating of the Outdoor Education programme for the whole school (Primary 1 to Primary 6). This programme provided every student in the school with an outdoor experiential programme from half day programmes to a 3 Days 2 Nights overseas camp. The success of the implementation of the programme also showcased the school as a Best Practice for MOE schools in Singapore.Highlights:- Kickstarted CCA programme (PAL) which became a new education policy- Pioneered a developmental Outdoor Camp Program for more than 2000 pax Show less
