Conducted Investigations as a Civil Rights Investigator for the Housing Rights Center of Los Angeles (HRC-LA )...ensuring that all residents received fair rental and sale amounts by acting as an undercover potential client.Under the direction of Danielle Jones Esq. & Emma Garcia Senior Project Administrator , I participated in a Civil Rights Investigator Training Course presented by The Fair Housing Council of San Gabriel Valley. This course taught us how to conduct both on site & telephone investigations regarding complaints of discrimination in housing. Often times this involved knocking door to door on large rental properties and conducting surveys of the current tenants . At other times this meant posing as a potential "renter" and recording my interactions / experiences with the accused landlord.
