      Started with the company in Apparel Marketing for WMT Stores. Went into the Mgt trainee program for Sam's Club and worked in field management positions in Houston, TX, Ft. Smith, AR and Baton Rouge, LA. I came to the corporate offices to start the first hourly field training programs for Sam's Club. Training expertise evolved into the development of leadership rotations for corporate meetings. As Senior Manager of Communications & Special Events, we developed a comprehensive communication department that housed all communications components into one area for more strategic, one-voice messaging. Event planning was comprised of various logistical components: financials/budgeting, contract negotiation, site searches, catering, exhibit booths, As Director of HR for Home Office, I had oversight of employee relations, on-boarding, performance management, policy governance, harassment investigations, etc. My last position as Director of Member Experience helped mold a customer service strategy that included a new member feedback component with reporting (first for Sam's), actionable directives based on this feedback and service training by key touchpoint positions within the clubs.
