From a team of six to floating on the London Stock Exchange with a team of 50+, I am proud to have been trusted with overall responsibility for growth operations and the brand at Northcoders for 5 of its first 6 yearsMy day-to-day was as diverse as dreaming up billboard campaigns, writing endpoints for their API, project managing software projects or (one week) sitting on the floor boxing up 1500 bottles of bespoke "Northciders" for their Hiring Partners. I also led a complete rebrand of the business from end-to-end in 2020.I was listed in the top 50 Northern Power Women on the 2020 Future List in recognition of my efforts to further equity, diversity and inclusion at Northcoders. By listening, learning, sharing and acting, I am proud that we significantly improved diversity on our courses by almost every metric, and importantly, instilled a thoughtful and inclusion-positive culture. By late 2021, nearly 20% of students belonged to a sexual minority, 25% belonged to the global majority, and a whopping 5% were transgender, intersex and/or non-binary.
