Chris McNally is the consummate professional: dedicated, conscientious and attentive. I was fortunate to work closely with him and view first hand his level of commitment and expertise. His enthusiasm and affable personality are key components to his success. I recommend Chris without hesitation for any leadership position and look forward to watching him continue to excel in his field.

Captain Chris McNally was my professor at Orange Coast College for the Professional Mariner Certificate Program. I decided to complete this program because I was planning on attending the California Maritime Academy in Vallejo, California. While waiting to be accepted the academy I took the Professional Mariner Program classes with Captain McNally. Captain McNally made my transfer to the academy extremely smooth and enjoyable. He was highly professional, organized and knowledgeable. He went out of his way to help students that were struggling, He knew how to teach the lesson plans in multiple ways, adapting to each students needs. He also took time to personally find and offer hands on experience for me and many other students throughout the two semesters. I have had many professors at 4 different colleges and he by far rates among the top. I would recommend him any day and hope one day to sail the seas with him to learn more. Thank you Captain for helping me get to where I am today. I look forward to calling you the day I graduate the California Maritime Academy and especially when I get my first job! Michael Riordan
