  The small comedy troupe began doing one monthly show in 2009. Employed social media marketing, targeted online advertising, remarketing, and event management tools. Today, the comedy company runs Sea Tea Improv Studios (classes & workshops), Sea Tea Comedy Theater (6+ shows every week), a for-hire touring company, an annual international comedy festival, and has a community of hundreds of engaged performers, students, and fans. 2019 - Sea Tea Improv Studios moves to 11 Asylum St, above the Theater 2016 - Sea Tea Comedy Theater opens at 15 Asylum St. 2015 - Sea Tea Improv Studios expands, adding 4 more rooms 2014 - Hartford Improv Festival, an annual event, begins 2012 - Sea Tea Improv Studios opens with 4 rooms at 75 Pratt St. 2011 - Sea Tea Improv begins teaching comedy classes 2009 - Sea Tea Improv founded
