At Kiefer Public Schools I have multiple roles. I teach 4th/5th/6th grade PE, and 8th grade US History. I am the Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Junior High Offensive/Defensive Line coach. During my time at Jenks, my role consisted of caring for and monitoring special education students. I assisted the lead teachers in 2 classrooms with any task I was assigned. I was brought into Perkins as a senior in college needing internship hours to complete my undergraduate degree. Originally, I was hired to be the video coordinator and was given a chance to do minimal coaching under the Offensive Line Coach at the time. However, when football season came around I had been promoted to the Offensive Line position coach and took on a much bigger role than anticipated. I was responsible for making sure the coaches had all the equipment necessary for practices or games as well as assisted during drills. I was also responsible for distributing equipment, uniforms, and ensuring all sideline equipment was readily available during the game.
