Key responsibilities: -Situated on checkouts so customer service was key, was required to be flexible to help other departments out where requested. -As a customer service assistance on tills I was also required to have knowledge on self-service tills and go through e-training on them as think 25 and theft prevention. -Other responsibilities included taking baskets back to the entrance, waste management and put back run (items no longer wanted by customers that are suitable to go back to shelves). -This role helped develop my self-confidence and verbal communication skills.
