I worked alongside Paul at DSGI for a few years and in that time saw him thrive in a leadership position. He was adept at hitting KPIs and leading his people. His understanding of the areas of the business that required improvement was always on point and he coupled this with an ability to get incremental growth on areas of strength to achieve his goals. I learned so much from Paul when observing his leadership of his team. He always seems to know when to show empathy with a team member, or when to give more stringent direction and this always led to him enjoying a great deal of respect from his reports. In addition, he had a great ability to manage upwards too, always being comfortable and confident in the company of any level of the business. It’s been some time since Paul and I worked together, but I can only imagine he has enhanced his skill set over the least several years and I’d advise anyone looking for a business leader to consider Paul for the role, as spending time with him is only ever a positive experience.
