Assist in the planning and execution of high end video productions. Providing examples of video work and discussing details of how each event will be covered. Making follow up phone calls and emails to customers, writing up gear lists and job sheets and contacting crew members in preparation for shoot days. Determine what equipment is required, identify and arrange repair of any faulty equipment and carry out all safety checks. Transport to location and set up equipment. As Lead Videographer on a film or video production, I am responsible for setting priorities for the crew to ensure a high standard of filming is achieved. I also work as part of a team of Videographers on a number of video productions to ensure a wide range of well composed shots were are and all location sound is recorded properly. Instructing operators and crew members on the maintenance and safe use of equipment. Training new crew members in setting up camera, sound and lighting equipment and coached them throughout the day to help learn new skills and give them a better understanding of work in video production. Post-production editing of videos using Adobe Premiere Pro. In 2014, I was promoted to Lead Editor. Focusing more on correct filming techniques greatly reduced the need to edit poor camera work which is a time consuming task, this helped me become faster at editing and stay on top of deadlines. This contributed greatly to customer satisfaction, which lead to an increase in referrals for the company.
