Project : RAPID P27 Flexi-HDPE Location : Pengerang, Johor EPCC for development of 400 kty High Density Poly-Ethylene HOSTALEN ACP (HACP) plant licensed by LyondellBasell within the PETRONAS RAPID Project. The electrical installation in this project involve 3 x 33kV main incoming supply and 1 x 11kV emergency incoming supply to Substation 321 (SUB-321) which design for maximum plant running load 35MVA. Roles and responsibilities: 1) Performing detail engineering design: • Electrical Design Basis. • Overall Single Line Diagram. • Protection and Metering Single Line Diagram. • Equipment sizing, specification and datasheet. • Power System Study – Load Flow, Short Circuit, Motor Starting, etc • Protection Relay Coordination and Arc Flash Study. • Earthing and Lightning Protection Study. • Electrical Layout Drawings. • Electrical Reliability Centered Maintenance (Maintenance Plan). 2) Evaluate vendor proposal and make recommendation base on vendor's technical compliance. Performing Vendor design review. Review Vendor drawings/document. Perform inspection, testing and attending Factory Acceptance Test (FAT). 3) Supervise electrical equipment installation and commissioning activities. 4) Performing inspection and Site Acceptance Test for electrical equipment: • Power Transformer 33/11.5kV, 11/3.45kV, 11/0.42kV. • Switchgear 11kV, 3.3kV, 0.4kV. • Earthing and Lightning Protection System. • Protection Relay calibration test. • HV and LV Power Cable. • HV Capacitor Bank. • HV and LV Motor. • HV and LV Variable Frequency Drive. • UPS system and battery. • HVAC system. 5) Prepare switching procedure and performing up to 33kV switchgear isolation and energization under direct supervision by Competent Person. 6) Produce red line mark-up and as-building drawing based on actual and final site installation. 7) Performing operational maintenance for all electrical equipment.
